Why We Started Score Nutrition

We want to make sports nutrition approachable, effective, and sustainable. It’s as simple as that.

The nutrition industry is rampant with misinformation, fad diets and self-proclaimed nutrition experts. While anyone can provide you with nutrition advice, Registered Dietitians (RD) are held accountable for the services they provide.

Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist are protected titles here in Alberta, and are regulated by the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA). The CDA ensures that its members meet high professional standards and practice ethically to protect the safety of the public.

Did you know that many health insurance benefits cover or reimburse our services? Insurance companies recognize the expertise of RD’s. Be sure to check your health care benefit plan!

What our partners are saying

*As a member of the College of Dietitians of Alberta, it is not legal for me to post individual client testimonials, however, I can share the experiences of working with me from businesses*

It has been a privilege for our Student-Athletes to work with a dietitian who is on the cutting edge of current trends and research in nutrition and sport performance. Carrie Mullin-Innes has worked with our Student-Athletes for the past 5 years in lecture settings, workshops and facilitating hands-on cooking sessions at the Canadian Sport Institute kitchen at Winsport.

Our Student-Athletes come with various degrees of knowledge and range from 13-19 years of age. Carrie quickly and seamlessly adapts her lessons to whoever is in each group answering sport specific questions as well as addressing universal nutritional principals. She is well-prepared, organized, and always professional. Our nutrition units within the National Sport School Athlete Development program are considered absolute favourites. Carrie’s warm, positive, and friendly nature has added great value to our program and she has supported many of our Student-Athletes in navigating the complex world of nutrition.
